Discover the real Downton Abbey on 30 July 2015

We would like to invite all American Friends to join RIBA’s UK Patrons for a visit to the wonderful and historic Highclere Castle – otherwise known as Downton Abbey. Information can be found below:

Thursday 30 July 2015

Please join us for an exclusive tour of Highclere Castle, before the public arrive, which will give us the privacy to explore the home of the Carnarvon family, latterly made famous by Downton Abbey. Lady Carnarvon will welcome us into the Saloon on arrival before we are guided on a tour of the Main State Rooms and Castle bedrooms. Please get in touch for more information and to register.

If you are unable to attend this but have made travel plans to the UK for later in the year, please do get in touch as there are other events which may be of interest.
